PRINCIPAL ATTORNEY
Principal Attorney Elizabeth A. Tresp earned her BA at Middlesex University in London in 1999. She completed her Juris Doctor (JD) and Master of Laws (LLM) at the University of San Diego School of Law, earning the highest honors in Criminal Tax Fraud and Taxation of Anti-Money Laundering.
Elizabeth is a member of The State Bar of California (Bar Number 290339), the Wyoming State Bar (Bar Number 8-7161), the State Bar of Montana (Bar Number 14059), the San Diego County Bar Association, Probate Attorneys of San Diego, and the American Bar Association. In addition to State Courts of California, Wyoming, and Montana, she practices before the United States Tax Court and the United States District Court, Southern District of California.
Staying involved in her community is important to Elizabeth, which is why you can find her volunteering at her children's schools and donating her time to local non-profits, including her own 501(c)(3) non-profits, the Tresp Family Arts Foundation and the Tresp Conservation Trust.
Elizabeth is a skilled public speaker and has been featured in several podcasts and webinars. Elizabeth has a passion for theater and is the Vice President of the board of directors at her local theater, North Coast Repertory Theatre.

PHILANTHROPY AND VOLUNTEERISM
Commitment to our community goes beyond financial contributions. In addition to her service on the Board of Directors for the North Coast Repertory Theatre, Elizabeth and her husband established the 501(c)(3) non-profit Tresp Family Arts Foundation, which funds the presentation, perpetuation, and propagation of performing arts events, including performances at regional non-profit theaters, small-town music festivals, and more.
An avid naturalist and outdoors enthusiast, Elizabeth works to acquire land to support the preservation of habitats to protect wildlife, preserve access, and promote environmental education through her 501(c)(3) non-profit Tresp Conservation Trust.
Earlier in her career, Elizabeth worked directly with disadvantaged youths through ChildHelp, and through local clinics, she has provided no-cost state and federal tax assistance to dozens of taxpayers.
Elizabeth consistently volunteers her time in the community, such as classroom volunteering in Solana Beach schools through the Solana Beach Schools Foundation. Additionally, Elizabeth volunteers in youth sports in Solana Beach and sponsors both the Solana Beach Little League team and the Solana Beach Soccer Club.

Abraham Ames, Esq.

Mr. Ames earned his B.S. at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2002 in Management Information Systems and Accounting, graduating Summa cum laude, Valedictorian in both majors. Prior to attending law school, he was a corporate accountant for many years, specializing in payroll with several large organizations. He completed his Juris Doctor (JD) at the University of San Diego School of Law with a concentration in Business & Corporate Law.
Instead of returning to the corporate environment, Abraham followed his passion of helping families navigate the Estate Planning, Trust Administration, and Probate process. He utilizes his business and accounting background to guide clients through their obligations and explain the intricacies of probate or trust administration to families. Abraham is a member of The State Bar of California (Bar Number 312385), the San Diego County Bar Association, and the Probate Attorneys of San Diego. In his free time, Abraham enjoys hiking the local mountain trails with his family, running on the boardwalk after work in Pacific Beach, and playing with his two Dachshunds.
James White, ESQ.

Mr. White is a local to the area, born and raised in El Cajon. Mr. White attended undergraduate studies at Seattle University pursuing a Philosophy Major specializing in Ethics, Law, and Justice. Mr. White returned to San Diego to attend Thomas Jefferson School of Law where he focused on trial work including participating on the National Mock Trial Team and interning with the Public Defender.
Upon graduation, James represented parents in the dependency courts including daily jurisdiction, disposition, and review hearings on placement of minor. Thereafter Mr. White represented plaintiffs and defendants in consumer matters, including bodily injury claims, property and fraud claims, administrative law proceedings, and labor code violations. Mr. White brings this wide background in litigation and dispute resolution for the benefit of our clients by employing practical mediums for efficient resolution of their rights and responsibilities in trust, will, and estate proceedings. He is a member of the State Bar of California (Bar Number 308094).
Tony Gaston, Esq.

Tony Gaston, Esq. brings over four decades of legal expertise to his practice, catering to both domestic and international clients. Mr. Gaston advises on a diverse range of planning, transactional matters, and civil litigation. With a global perspective, Mr. Gaston has facilitated the formation of companies, trusts, and partnerships across various jurisdictions, including Mexico, Panama, the Caribbean, and China. Since 1976, his international practice has focused on assisting foreign individuals and entities in conducting business in the United States and navigating business-based non-immigrant visas. Mr. Gaston has served as a trial attorney, representing clients in banking, commercial litigation, and federal/state courts throughout Southern California. Notably, he continues to provide representation in business and commercial litigation, boasting several published Appellate Court decisions. Prior to his legal practice, Mr. Gaston served in the United States Army, Vietnam. He earned his Bachelor of Science from California State Polytechnic University in 1968 and his Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1973. A member of the California State Bar since 1973, he is admitted to practice in various federal courts, including the U.S. Tax Court, Ninth Circuit, and the US Supreme Court.
Nick Hepburn, Esq.

Mr. Hepburn earned his B.S. in Business and Economics from the University of Oregon in 2015. Returning to San Diego, he completed his Juris Doctor (JD) at California Western School of Law in 2019, where he received the Full-Tuition Dean’s Scholarship for extraordinary academics, extracurriculars, and leadership. Throughout law school, he worked as an intern for a Trust and Estates law firm, even temporarily relocating to Chile to help an international firm while perfecting his Spanish. Currently, Mr. Hepburn is a member of the State Bar of California (Bar Number #333752) and the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego. After law school, he gained experience representing victims of the California fires whose homes and businesses were destroyed. He spent hundreds of hours getting justice for his clients against the utility companies that started those fires. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, scuba diving, and traveling around the world.
Makenna C. Chambers, Esq.

Ms. Chambers earned her B.A. from the University of California, Merced in 2012, and her Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2019. While in law school, Ms. Chambers found her passion for Estate Planning & Administration when she took a position as a law clerk for a sole practitioner, specializing in estate and tax planning, and has never looked back. Makenna’s practice focuses on complex estate planning and domestic & offshore asset protection for high net worth individuals with complex investments and business interests.
Makenna is a member of The State Bar of California (Bar Number 336017), the San Diego County Bar Association, and the Probate Attorneys of San Diego. When not working, Ms. Chambers can be found spending time with her daughter, and grabbing coffee from one of our local roasters.
Robert Crissman, Esq.

Mr. Crissman earned his Juris Doctor from the University of La Verne, College of Law in 2013 after earning his B.S. from CSU Long Beach in 2010. Robert (Bobby) has a strong civil litigation background including trust and probate litigation, business law, contract disputes, employment law, landlord-tenant disputes, and family law with cases spanning the Inland Empire, San Diego, and Orange County. Mr. Crissman is a member of the State Bar of California (Bar Number #292299). During law school, Mr. Crissman worked as a staff and associate editor for the University of La Verne Law Review, and he was awarded with the Thomas and Miriam Kendall Scholarship for exceptional academics and leadership. He also interned for the County of Riverside District Attorneys Office, and the Superior Court of California, County of San Bernardino, in the Family Law Self-Help Center. In his free time he enjoys, going to the movie theater, spending time with family, going to sports events, hitting the gym, and exploring San Diego.
Daniel Glaser, Esq.
Associate Litigation Attorney
Mr. Glaser was born and raised in San Diego, California. He graduated from the University of California, San Diego in 2011 with cum laude honors. While attending the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law he was vice-chair of the Skid Row Clinic, partnering with the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles. Upon earning his Juris Doctor degree at UCLA and becoming a member of the State Bar of California (Bar Number #326769), Daniel worked for a non-profit organization offering free legal services to low-income residents of Imperial County. The global pandemic instilled in Mr. Glaser a newfound appreciation for family and friends, prompting his return to San Diego in 2022. Daniel recognizes the emotional toll the probate process can have on a person or family. He strives to alleviate this burden while working to achieve the best outcome for his clients. In his free time, Daniel enjoys playing soccer and watching the English Premier League. He loves being outdoors and traveling the world with family and friends.
