Paralegal — estate planning, trust and probate administration

Are you an organized, detail-oriented, and motivated paralegal looking to excel in a collaborative environment? Our law firm specializes in estate planning, trust administration, and probate administration, and we’re seeking an experienced Probate Paralegal to join our dynamic team.
What we’re looking for
Qualifications:
- Certified Paralegal under California BPC § 6450.
- At least 3 years of recent experience in estate planning, trust administration, or probate administration.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Adobe. (Mac experience is a plus!)
Skills and attributes:
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Self-motivated and thrives both independently and in a team setting.
- Strong research, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a tactful, client-centered approach.
- Superior grammar, proofreading, and English composition skills.
- Typing speed of 60+ WPM.
- A notary public commission is a plus but not required.
Your role:
- Manage case files and provide support to estate planning and asset protection attorneys.
- Draft, edit, format, and proofread legal documents with precision.
- Prepare and send correspondence.
- Maintain communication with clients and address their inquiries as needed.
- Organize and maintain electronic files per firm standards.

Estate planning attorney
$110,000 – $130,000 · Seniority level: Associate
Tresp Law, APC, seeks to add an Estate Planning Attorney with three to five years of demonstrable experience in estate planning, trust administration, and probate administration. Must be currently licensed to practice law in the State of California. Licenses in Nevada, Wyoming, Arizona, Texas, or Florida are a plus.

We are a highly respected firm specializing in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Litigation, Probate Administration, and Trust Administration with hundreds of active cases throughout California. Our attorneys enjoy excellent paralegal support, in-house marketing, top-notch networking, and the best research and drafting tools including the full suite of WestLaw, CEB OnLaw, and WealthCounsel.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar of California.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in estate planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, advise, draft, and revise a wide array of estate planning documents, including wills, distinct types of trusts, and ancillary documents.
- Continuous learning and research of probate and tax laws, as well as advanced planning and trust techniques.
- Explain complex legal concepts and explain all provisions of the estate plan to the client.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, understand their unique needs, and provide effective solutions for those clients’ estate planning.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Represent clients in matters in the Probate division of the California Civil Court, and related civil matters.

Civil litigation associate attorney
$120,000 – $150,000
Tresp Law, APC, seeks to add a Senior Associate Attorney with 7 or more years of demonstrable civil litigation experience to join our growing, family-oriented firm. If you are an ambitious and aggressive litigator with proven trial experience, this would be a great opportunity to establish a long-term career and play an important role in our continued growth with a clear path toward partnership.
We are a highly respected Trust and Probate Litigation law firm, with hundreds of active cases throughout California. Our attorneys enjoy excellent paralegal support, in-house marketing, top-notch networking, and the best research and drafting tools including the full suite of WestLaw, CEB OnLaw, and WealthCounsel.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar of California.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil litigation.
- Trial experience is essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in matters in the Probate division of the California Civil Court, and related civil matters.
- Appear in court for hearings, trials, and other proceedings.
- Conduct thorough legal research.
- Communicate with clients regularly.
- Draft legal pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court documents.
- Participate in alternative dispute resolution, such as mediation.
- Provide clients with realistic expectations regarding potential outcomes.
