Tony Gaston, Esq. brings over four decades of legal expertise to his practice, catering to both domestic and international clients. Mr. Gaston advises on a diverse range of planning, transactional matters, and civil litigation. With a global perspective, Mr. Gaston has facilitated the formation of companies, trusts, and partnerships across various jurisdictions, including Mexico, Panama, the Caribbean, and China. Since 1976, his international practice has focused on assisting foreign individuals and entities in conducting business in the United States and navigating business-based non-immigrant visas.
Mr. Gaston has served as a trial attorney, representing clients in banking, commercial litigation, and federal/state courts throughout Southern California. Notably, he continues to provide representation in business and commercial litigation, boasting several published Appellate Court decisions. Prior to his legal practice, Mr. Gaston served in the United States Army, Vietnam. He earned his Bachelor of Science from California State Polytechnic University in 1968 and his Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1973. A member of the California State Bar since 1973, he is admitted to practice in various federal courts, including the U.S. Tax Court, Ninth Circuit, and the US Supreme Court.
